# User Guide

Welcome to the User Guide for the **Content Integrator for Jira** plugin. This guide will help you understand how to use the plugin's features to embed various types of content directly into Jira issues, enhancing your project management and collaboration experience.

## **Embedding Content** <a href="#embedding-content" id="embedding-content"></a>

Using the **Content Integrator for Jira** plugin is intuitive and straightforward. Follow these steps to embed data into a Jira issue:\
\
1\. **Navigate to** the Jira **issue** where you want to embed data. **Click** on the **Content Integrator for Jira icon** located **below** the issue **title** (if it’s not there, click the triple-dot button, and select it from the dropdown menu). The application **panel** will **appear** on your issue screen.

2. Inside the application panel, **select** the **program icon** you’d like to embed from the list. If you **don’t see** the desired program, try using the **search bar** or **scroll down** the list to find it.

3. Enter the **Tab name**, paste the **Link** of the app you want to embed, and click **Save**.

Detailed instructions on how to obtain the link are provided below the Save button. You can also return to the selection menu by clicking the appropriate button.

4. After clicking the Save button, you can **access** your **embedded app** within the tab and continue working with it without needing to switch between applications.

Remember to manage the permissions of the embedded content within the original apps to ensure proper access and security.

You can add as many embedded tabs as you need; there are no limits. Simply click the '**Plus**' button on the side navigation bar and follow the same instructions to embed additional content.
